Executive Team

Hamlet Batista – President and CEO
Hamlet Batista, founded NEMedia S.A. in 2002. He is an entrepreneur, search marketing expert and the creator of RankSense. Prior to creating RankSense, Hamlet achieved success as an affiliate marketer in a number of highly competitive niches. This experience significantly sharpened his marketing skills, knowledge of paid, organic search and conversion optimization.

His educational background is in software and Internet technologies, has allowed him to approach marketing from a non-traditional technical perspective.

He regularly writes about advanced search marketing topics on his award winning blog (Hamlet Batista dot Com) and is senior editor and speaker for the Search Engine Marketing Research Journal. Hamlet currently resides in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with his wife and two kids.

Curtis R. – Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
(Curtis) R. Curtis is a sixteen-year veteran of the Internet and co-founder of one of the industry’s first ISPs/hosting companies. He is a recognized leader in the Internet, hosting and search marketing industries, and speaks regularly at related conferences on hosting infrastructure, online marketing and the evolution of the hosting industry.

In addition to his role as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Nemedia S.A., Curtis is the CEO of Sharksfly Solutions, providing online & offline marketing solutions, focusing on search engine marketing, working closely with the major search engine companies and the search industry since the mid-90s. He also works with search and social media companies to ensure they have the right hosting solution to fit with their particular business model.
In the early 1990s, Curtis has been involved in the evolution of the Internet, working first as a consultant with both the Federal and Provincial government, then in 1993, moving on to the startup and management of Helix Internet. After successfully selling Helix to a major telecommunications company, Curtis went on to work with online access providers and telecommunication companies such as BCTel (Telus), Rogers, Sprint, GroupTelecom and the banking industry, implementing successful marketing and business strategies. Prior to joining Nemedia S.A., he held the role of Sr. VP, Sales & Marketing (2000 – 2008) with Superb Internet Corp., one of the oldest and most respected hosting companies during which Superb Internet became a leader in the hosting industry.

David Amador – Chief Financial Officer
Raul David Amador was born and raised in Santo Domingo and obtained his first degree in Accounting. He went on to achieve an MBA in Business Administration and as an Independent Auditor. He has been working at NEMedia since 2004 and takes care of all the finances, both for NEMedia as well as its sister company, Nveevo.

Harold Marzan – Chief Software Architect
Harold Marzan is a top software engineer specialized in Microsoft technologies. He graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo where he obtained a degree in Computer Science and has over eight years of experience in all areas of software development. He also studied at Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago where he earned his Software Engineering degree. Harold Marzan is our Chief Software Architect and excels at managing and analyzing software requirements and designing system architectures. He provides project management, developer training and implementation direction and has been working on the development of RankSense since day one.

Edna Rodriguez – Business Development Director
A native of the Dominican Republic, Edna was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and grew up in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. Edna was raised in a global environment, growing up between The Hague, Netherlands and Santo Domingo. Prior to joining NEMedia in June of 2008, Edna resided in Atlanta, GA where she was Senior Program Officer at the Atlanta Women’s Foundation. On her spare time Edna enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, learning about SEO and working on her small business. Edna takes care of all day to day activities at NEMedia.

Luis Jimenez – IT Manager
Luis Jimenez was born and raised in the town of Santiago in the Dominican Republic. He graduated magna cum laude from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, obtaining a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Luis has been with NEMedia since 2005, in which time he has risen from Systems Administrator to Manager of the IT department. His willingness to lend a helping hand ensures the success of all projects, both at NEMedia and Nveevo.

Edgar Batista – Marketing Manager
Edgar is NEMedia first employee and has been working with Hamlet since the operation was running from Hamlet’s home. He manages and executes all marketing related activities.
